As the gameworld is not fully discovered initially, this means that you will only see the cities closest to you. The detail on the map will not be precise, as if it was smudged. Only when you go into these uncharted waters will the map be updated. Updates to the map can also happen through Missions or Information. In Port Royale you are able to buy new ships, depending on availability. This allows you to pick and choose how you build your fleets. Traders, Pirates, Transport Convoys and Military ships will also be seen on the move, and each of these types could potentially be captured during a successful battle. |
